Supply of Zone 2 IEC Explosion Proof Cranes

Eilbeck Cranes has successfully completed Factory Acceptance Testing for the first set of five 10T EDL Cranes for JKC destined for the Ichthys LNG Project. The cranes have undergone a rigorous project quality and hazardous area electrical inspection regime by the client, all cranes having been converted from European Standard compliance to Australian Standard IEC EX compliance requirements for Explosion protection cranes.
All cranes have passed though detailed hazardous area inspection for Australian standard and Project requirement.
Special feature of these Cranes:
- Explosion Protection Zone 2 IIB T3
- Special designed Hoist trolley to achieve project requirement of hook approach.
- Special designed End carriage to achieve project requirement of end hook approach.
- Solid Bronze wheels.
- Bronze coated hook block.
- SS Isolator.
- SS Junction Box IP66.
- IP66 Protection for motor and Control Panel.
- Light on Hoist.
- Flashing light with motion.
- Warning Horn with motion.
- AS1418, AS3000, IECEX requirement.
The next four cranes (2 off 30t and 2 off 15t) are also ready and will undergo inspection and FAT soon. The ten remaining cranes (8 off 63t and 2 off 90t) are now due for delivery early 2014.
